Alberta J. Snyder, (nee Bobier) age 93yrs. Longtime former resident of Sharon Township and currently of Elkhorn, WI. Passed to eternal life on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Lakeland Health Care Center. Alberta was born July 11, 1933, in South Sioux City, Nebraska to Albert and Bertha (nee Rounds) Bobier. She married the late Robert Snyder on March 21, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Darien, WI. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2011.
Alberta was a woman whose life was rooted in love, faith, and family. Born and raised with a strong spirit, she moved to Wisconsin at the age of 15, where her story truly began. It was at the Delavan roller rink that she met the love of her life—an encounter that shaped decades of devotion, partnership, and joy.
A longtime member of Triune Church in Sharon, Wisconsin, Alberta lived her faith quietly but deeply. She embraced the life of a farmer’s wife, raising veal cattle, tending tomatoes, and nurturing a home filled with warmth. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother.
Alberta added spice to every life she touched. She spoke her mind, shared her opinions freely, and did so with a spark that made her unforgettable. Her honesty, humor, and heart will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Thomas (DeeAnn) Snyder and Charmane (John Zoellick) Kolmos, grandchildren Katie (Ryan) Brunner, Meghan Snyder, Christian and Jessen Kolmos and Kelly Smith, great grandchildren Mille, Maggie, Rylee, Jackson and Annabella and twin brother Albert Bobier. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Dale, Leland, Thomas Bobier and Bernice Johnson.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 4-6pm at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Delavan (118 South 2nd Street) and on Tuesday at Triune Lutheran Church (N1584 County Road K, Sharon, WI) with funeral service at 11am. Interment at Darien Cemetery at 1:30PM. Please meet directly at the cemetery.
