Alice Maud Hand

Alice Maud Hand, 92 of 408 McDowell Street, Delavan died at Willowfield Nursing Home on Wednesday, Dec. 28,2016. Alice was born April 20, 1924 on the Bowers Road Family Farm in Walworth Co. Wisconsin the daughter of Harry Ames and Vertibelle Yarrington. She married Donald Hand in Iowa , May 11,1959. Donald predeceased her in Feb. of 2009. Alice worked at Borg Instruments in Delavan for 50 years. She was a member of Como Community Church. She was dearly loved by all her caregivers at Willowfield Nursing Home and her devoted family. She is survived by one son, Dennis (Cynthia) DeVoy of Delavan. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchldren. Funeral services will be 11am. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at the Como Community Church with the Rev. Robert Kamps officiating. Burial will follow in North Geneva Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9am to service time. A reception will follow burial services at the church.
