Amiee Renae Obenauf

Ammie R. (Jensema) Obenauf, age 43 of Delaven died on September 16, 2016, peacefully at home following a long bout with cancer. She was born on January 21, 1973 at Harvard Ill. Ammie was an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses and engaged in the public Bible educational work done by Jehovah's Witnesses for most of her 43 years and spent over 17 years making that work her fulltime volunteer vocation in Wisconsin, Michigan and Alaska. She supported her volunteer activity as a traveling Registered Nurse. Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 327 E. Remer Rd. Elkhorn, Wi 53121 at 4:00PM Monday September 19, 2016 with visitation starting at 2:00PM. Memorials to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses are suggested. Ammie is survived by her husband Jim Obenauf, her father Daniel M. Jensema and his wife Ruth A. Jensema. She is also survived by her mother Mary A. Hemmingway as well as by two grandmothers, uncles, aunts and cousins. Ammie attended Delavan-Darien High School and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. She obtained her nursing degree from Muskegon Community College in Michigan. Ammie traveled extensively and enjoyed scuba diving as an advanced diver. She was deeply loved by all who knew her because of her outgoing spirit, her volunteer work and her artistic ability.
