Antoinette Whitman

June 16, 1943 — January 31, 2026

West Allis, WI

Antoinette Whitman, 82 years of West Allis and formerly of Lake Geneva. Passed to eternal life on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Mitchell Manor Nursing in West Allis. Antoinette was born on June 16, 1943, in Cudahy, WI to the late August and Carmella (Scaffidi) Pintarro. She married her first husband Algie Barney Lindsey, Jr on March 3, 1969, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1997, and her second husband Sydney (Scott) Whitman on April 24, 2004, and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2012. Antoinette was unforgettable — a woman with a rebellious heart and a fierce sense of justice. She never backed down from standing up for the underdog, and she protected those she loved with unwavering loyalty and strength. If you were in her circle, you were safe — she was your fiercest advocate.A proud Sicilian woman, she carried both fire and tenderness in equal measure. She spoke her mind, lived on her own terms, and loved deeply. Her presence filled a room, and her laugh, wisdom, and strength left lasting impressions on everyone she met.She was the backbone of her family — resilient through hardship, generous in spirit, and devoted beyond measure. She taught by example what it meant to be strong, compassionate, and fearless in love. Her home was a place of comfort and belonging, and her heart was always open to those in need. She faced life with courage and grace, giving everything she had to her children and family. Even in her final moments, she was surrounded by love — a reflection of the life she built. Her legacy lives on in the strength of her children, the memories she created, and the countless lives she touched. Though she has left this world, her spirit remains — in every act of kindness, every moment of bravery, and every story told in her honor.

Antoinette is survived by her children, William Stolpa, Valerie (John) Diedrich, John (Michael) Lindsey and Aniello Lindsey, stepdaughter Debbie Whitman, brother Vincent (Audrey) Pintarro. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
