Arleen Barbra Krohn

Arleen B. Krohn, 90, longtime resident of Lake Geneva, WI passed away to eternal life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Arleen was born on December 28, 1931 in Greenleaf, WI daughter to the late Victor A. and Marie T. (Kloppel) Brantmeier. She married Delbert "Del" Krohn on June 30, 1951 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lyons, WI. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2016. She worked as a school crossing guard for 23 years and was also part owner of Del's Auto Service & Towing on Williams Street in Lake Geneva. Arleen was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She served as alderwoman for Lake Geneva for many years. Arleen was the loving mother of Terrance (Roxanne) Krohn and William (April) Krohn; caring grandmother of Leah (Steven) Vandijk and Nicholas (Kristi) Krohn; great-grandmother of Gannon Del Krohn & Payton Mccann, Jesse & Hope Vandijk, and Noelle & Axton Krohn. Also surviving Arleen is her sister Pat O'Neill, sister-in-law Delores Cash, nieces' nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debora M. Krohn, brothers Jerry and Ed Brantmeier sister-in-laws Marion Weyrough, Esther Miller & Mary Cash, and brother-in-law Mac Krohn. A visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME (515 Center St, Lake Geneva) on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 10-11a.m. followed by a procession to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (148 W. Main St., Lake Geneva) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30a.m. Masks are not required, but recommended by family. Burial will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City, WI where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Del.
