April 18, 1949 — January 9, 2021

Arnold "Arnie" Krause age 71 of Bartlett, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at Alden Meadow Park in Clinton, WI. Arnie was born on April 18th, 1949 in Bensenville, IL to William and Mabel (Wiemerslage) Krause. Arnie is survived by his two daughters, Marne Ames (Mike) of Clermont, FL, their children Tyler, Jasmine, Leila, Evangelyn and Mikey and Kelly Krause (Eric Meinel) of Lake Geneva, WI, their children Jasmine, Kayla, and Olivia, his sisters, Elaine Zotas and Janet Bachi, as well his niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his companion of 18 years Sandra "Sandy" Gilbert. Arnie grew up on the family farm, working in the field and taking in all manner of animals. He owned Arnie's standard for many years and was a volunteer firefighter in Bartlett, IL. The majority of his working life consisted of driving tractor-trailer trucks, both cross country and local. He loved cooking for his family and was known for his summer bbq's. All were welcomed and too much food was never enough. His piercing blue eyes and his deep, booming voice will not easily be forgotten. An opportunity was never missed by Arnie and Sandy to send a heartfelt card for any occasion to the kids and grandkids. The couple made the most of their time by attending various events together and enjoyed spending time with Sandy's Son Dave, his wife Kelly and their kids Ryan and Grace. Per Arnie's strong wishes, private family services were held at the funeral home prior to his cremation. Steinke-Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home of Lake Geneva, WI is proudly serving the family.
