Ashur Drake Larson

Ashur Drake Larson, 19 years old of Delavan, WI passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. He was born December 31, 2005 to Jared and Kelly (Vanderbloemen) Larson in Georgia. Ashur loved music and was extremely gifted when it came to playing the guitar and sharing his talents with his loved ones. He enjoyed time spent outside, especially hiking and taking in what the outdoors had to offer. Ashur adored his friends and cherished their friendship deeply. He was proud to work for VIP Services, Inc. in Elkhorn and found much happiness in his daily tasks and working alongside his colleagues. Ashur was kind, could make you laugh with his silly humor, and was wise beyond his years.

Survivors include, his mother, Kelly Larson; maternal grandparents “Nonnie and Pops”, Sharon and Dennis Vanderbloemen; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Donna Larson; beloved Aunt and Uncle Jenny (Mike Arhart) Vanderbloemen and wonderful Aunt Tiffany Larson; half-brother, Andrew Larson; “bestest of the best” friend, Aleesa “Lily” Bates; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ashur was preceded in death by his father, Jared Larson; and great-grandmother “Oma”, Helen King.

Visitation will be held from 3:00PM until 5:00PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at LAZARCZYK FAMILY FUNERAL HOME , 118 South 2nd St. Delavan, WI 53115. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow across the street at the Delavan Legion Post 95, 111 South 2nd St. Delavan, WI 53115. Interment will be private.
