Bernice M. Sutton

Bernice Marion Sutton (nee Wager), 93 years of age, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on November 22, 2023.

She was born on March 9, 1930 in Minnesota to the late Mildred (nee Swenson) and Irvin Wager. Bernice was united in marriage to the late Charles Sutton on August 12, 1950, in Winona, Minnesota. Charles preceded her in death on August 13, 1978. She was a longtime Banquet Supervisor at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, and also worked at Brunk Tool and Die in Lake Geneva.

Bernice is survived by her son Steve (the late Joyce) Sutton, grandchildren Jeremiah (Sabrina) Sutton, Adam Sutton, and Whitney (Steven) Fife; great-grandchildren Camden, Logan, and Chace; siblings Peggy Hanson, Mae (Wendell) Multhaup, and Elaine (Raymond) Pflughoeft; as well as other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles, son Gregory Sutton, sister Carol Wadewitz, and brother Ervin Wager.

A visitation will be held on December 8, 2023, from 9-11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church (700 N Bloomfield Rd, Lake Geneva, WI); service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI.
