Betty Bates

Betty Bates, 87, Lake Geneva, WI passed away peacefully Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Lakeland Healthcare Center, Elkhorn. Betty was born Aug. 10, 1927 in Blackpool, England the daughter of Fredrick and Lena Wilkinson Brotherton. United in marriage to Henry Bates Jan. 22, 1955 in Blackpool, England and he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1995. Surviving is her daughter Lindsay Bates, Lake Geneva, WI, nephew, Greg (Janice) Robbins, 2 great nieces, 1 great-great nephew, and 4 great-great nieces. Preceded in death by her parents, a son Robert, and a sister Molly. A Memorial Gathering for Betty will be held on Friday March 27, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI.
