Betty Jane Petry

Betty Jane Petry, 88, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Menomonee Falls, WI, where she and George moved to in 2018. She was born July 8, 1932 in Milwaukee,WI, the daughter of Edward Wilson and Mabel Prue. Betty met the love of her life at a Washington High School football game, his name was George. They fell in love and married Dec. 16, 1950 in Milwaukee. Betty was very active in First Baptist Church of Delavan. She was in the Bible Class at her church and was an avid gardener, cook and baker. She is survived by her husband George of almost 70 years, 4 sons, Mark (Ginger) Petry of Marquette; Michigan, Kirk (Sharilyn Hanson) Petry of Elizabeth, Co; Jack (Betty) Petry of Lake Elmo, MN; Todd (Janet) Petry of Menomonee Falls, WI; 1 daughter, Gail (Russ) Gilman of Port Orange, Florida; 7 Grandchildren: Justine (Nathan) Willar, Erica Petry (Steve Robinson), David Petry (Allyson), Brian Petry (Jenni), Daryn Kersch (Kristie), Brandon Petry, Nicholas Petry, Doug Gilman (Lindsay), Rebecca Shklovsky (Edward), and 6 Great Grandchildren; Emmett Willar, Seth Petry, Simon Petry, Eloise Shklovsky, Madelyn Gilman, and Scarlett Gilman. In Lieu of Flowers Memorials to the First Baptist Church of Delavan would be appreciated.
