Bonnie J. Kitzman, 91 years of age and resident of Delavan, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 in Delavan.
She was born in Wisconsin on January 21, 1933, to the late Ralph and Viola (nee Jacobs) Wiedenhoft. On June 11, 1951, she was united in marriage to the late Russell A. Kitzman Sr. in Fontana, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in October of 1992.
Bonnie was a longtime resident of Delavan and grew up attending school in Walworth County. She was a talented crafter, creating a little bit of everything. Bonnie loved spending time outside, especially amongst the flowers and birds. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles as well as spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. A member of United Church of Christ in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, Bonnie was always active in her community.
Survived by her children Russell L. (Sue) Kitzman, Ernie R. Kitzman, Vicky L. Kitzman, and Diane M. Norton; eight grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; siblings Ralph Wiedenhoft and Barbara A. (Carl) Schuldt; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her husband Russell A. Kitzman Sr., son Larry A. Kitzman, daughter Sherry S. Kitzman, parents Ralph and Viola Wiedenhoft, and brother Richard Wiedenhoft.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes of Delavan (118 S. 2nd Street, Delavan, WI 53115) with a funeral service at 12 p.m. officiated by Pastor Marty Carney. Followed by interment at Roselawn Memory Gardens (N3045 State Road 67, Lake Geneva, WI 53147).
In accordance with Bonnie’s wishes, any memorial funds may be given to Walworth County Hospice Programs in memory of Russel A. Kitzman Sr., Larry A. Kitzman, and Sherry S. Kitzman.
