He was retired from the Marine Corp. with an E 5 rating. He was a private investigator most of working life. . He is survived by one son, Ben of Winnebago, Wis. 1 sister, Belinda (Wayne) Houseweart of Rockford. 1 brother, Steven (Darnet) Standish of Richmond, Il. 1 daughter Katherine is predeceased him.
