Caledonia. "Ruth" Hinzpeter, 89, Lake Geneva, WI died Monday July 28, 2014 at the Arbor Village, Lake Geneva. Ruth was born June 7, 1925 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of John and Clara Qvern Ferguson. United in marriage to Calvin "Spud" Hinzpeter Dec. 7, 1946 in Elkhorn, WI and he preceded her in death Nov. 9, 2012. Member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Lioness. Surviving are her son David (Sara) Hinzpeter, and 2 grandchildren Sean Hinzpeter and Marin Darsie. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Furguson, and son, Michael Hinzpeter. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Aug. 2, 2014 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, WI with Pastor Mark and MaryAnn Moller- Gunderson officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to time of services at the church. Steinke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
