With profound love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life of Camille T. Siedelmann (nee Proce), age 91, who passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. A resident of Madison and former longtime resident of Delavan, Camille leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, family, music, and service.
Camille was born on June 7, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Angela (nee Costante) Proce. She married Ronald Siedelmann on June 3, 1973 in Elmwood Park, Il and he preceded her in death on Feb 19, 2011.
Born into a proud Italian family, Camille cherished her heritage throughout her life. She expressed that love through the traditions that meant so much to her, especially preparing wonderful Italian meals and gathering family and friends around the table. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and hospitality, where everyone was welcomed and made to feel like family. Above all else, Camille believed that family always came first, and the time she spent with her loved ones was her greatest joy.
Music was a lifelong gift and passion for Camille. Beginning piano lessons at the age of seven, she developed a remarkable musical talent that brought happiness to many throughout her life. She especially loved the holidays, when she would gather friends and family together for memorable sing-alongs around the piano, creating cherished moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who shared them.
Camille also found great joy in gardening, lovingly tending the gardens at her home. She had a natural ability to nurture and create beauty, whether through her flowers, her cooking, or the relationships she built with others. She was known for her generosity and her love of entertaining, often hosting parties and gatherings for family and friends where laughter, conversation, and good food were always abundant.
Camille assisted Ron at the Delavan Ben Franklin, which they owned and where she proudly served the community, building lasting relationships with many customers and friends.
A woman of deep faith and compassion, Camille devoted much of her life to helping others. She was a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels, Respite Care for the elderly, Hospice, and many other organizations where she offered kindness, companionship, and support to those in need.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Camille generously shared her time and talents by volunteering with the Bereavement Committee, and assisting in the church rectory, and many other activities. She was also a longtime member of the Delavan American Legion Auxiliary.
Above all, Camille was a loving and devoted mother whose greatest pride and joy was her family. She filled their lives with unconditional love, encouragement, and countless treasured memories. Her kindness, generosity, strength, and joyful spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is lovingly survived by her children Michael (Victoria) Marr, Linda (Dan) Schmalz, Anita (Robert) Smith, Tom (Pam) Siedelmann and Ron Siedelman Jr. Grandchildren Alex (Signe), Dominic, Katrina (Steven) Allen, Anastasia, Matthew, Jacob, Isabella, Lilliana, Olivia, Miranda, Tyler (fiancée Savannah). Great Grandchildren Alice and Evie. Brother Robert (Joyce) Proce and sister-in-laws Valorie Proce and Karen Vazquez. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ronald Siedelmann and Mario Colello, daughter-in-law Esperanza Herbas, siblings John and James Proce, sister-laws Kay Proce and Arline Proce, grandchildren Max and Vincent Smith, nephew John Proce and her beloved dog Lulu.
Visitation will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church (714 East Walworth Ave, Delavan, WI) on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
Though she will be deeply missed, Camille’s legacy will live on in every family recipe shared, every song sung around the piano, every garden that blooms, and every act of kindness extended to another. Her love, faith, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Camille’s name to St. Jude Children Hospital, Shriners Children Hospital or your local animal shelter.
“A life well-lived leaves behind a beautiful bouquet of memories.”
