Carol Ann Hohman

Carol Ann Hohman, 85, of Lake Geneva, WI, and formerly of Lake in the Hills, Il, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

She was born on December 7, 1938, in Berwyn, IL, daughter of  Oldrich and Ruth (Dombrowsky) Novy. Carol married Charles “Chuck” Hohman in Chicago and they were together of over 56 years when he passed away on June 12, 2019.

She is survived by her Children Christine (Mark) Farrell, Carl (Lynn) Hohman, Cheryl (Mike) Philpot, Catherine (Michael) Lengvenis, Charles E. (Cindy) Hohman and Cameron (Jenifer) Hohman; as well as sisters Sharon (Mike) Mulligan, Susan Pape and Joyce Maxwell and sister-in-law Carol Thorhauer. Carol is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles “Chuck” and children Charles, Jr. and Rebecca. Carol loved scrapbooking, was a longtime parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church and also a member of the Church Choir.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2024 at the Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva, WI) from 5-8pm, and again on Saturday, October 20th, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church (4206 Elm W. St., McHenry, IL) from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. Private Burial at the Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City.
