Charles E. Carlson b. Jan 10, 1942 in Elkhorn to Carl James and Betty Jean (Hart) Carlson. Graduated from DDHS Class of 1960, served in the U. S. Army from 1960 to 1963. Worked as a Bricklayer for 40 years. Married Virginia Helen (Arnott) May 26,1967. Survived by children Kristin Ann (Robin Lee-Thorp) Carlson Fairfax VA, Charles Theodore (Mary) Carlson, Whitewater. Brothers James A. Carlson Janesville, Eric (Maxine) Carlson Grand Junction CO, sister, Bonnie (Norbert) Kegley Eagle River WI, and 4 granddaughters which are the light of his life. He also has nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by parents. Visitation at Delavan Methodist Church Saturday, February 24 from 9:30 to 11, with services at 11a,m.at the church. with the Rev. Maribel Celiz officiating.The U.S. Army Detail will conduction flag folding and present of U.S. Flag at the church. Burial will be in the Ora Rice Arboretum. . In place of flowers the family requests donations to your favorite charity, feed the birds, enjoy nature. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Carlson Family.
