Charles “Jim” Dobbler III, age 79 years. Resident of Fontana and formerly of Lake Geneva. Passed to eternal life on March 15, 2025, at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa. Jim was born on July 23, 1945, in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Charles James Dobbler II and Evelyn (Scott) Dobbler. Jim married Kathleen A. Poidomani on October 4, 1997, in Batavia, IL. Jim proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was stationed in Okinawa. Jim was the proud owner and operator of Jim Dobbler Builders for over 35 years. Proud member of the Knights of Columbus Lake Geneva Council 1647 and served as Past Grand Knight, 4th Degree member of Mother Seton Assembly #1685 and currently serving as District Deputy for the State of Wisconsin Knights of Columbus for District 73. Jim is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Jim Dobbler IV, Zach (Jenny) Dobbler, Tracie (Shawn) Hess, Brooke (Sean) Beaster, Lauren (Mike) Saetre and Leah (Marty Chuick) Katz, grandchildren Gennesee, Max, Digger, Finn, Natalie, Siler, Jorie, Jackson, Wyatt, Merin, Sydney, Owie and Bennie, Sister Judy (Gary) McNaulty and brother Gary Dobbler. Also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws Charles and Virginia Poidomani. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes-Lake Geneva (515 Center Street) from 10am to 12pm with Procession to St. Andrew Catholic Church (714 East Walworth Street, Delavan, WI) for Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Private Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
