Cheryl June Spotz, age 68, of Delavan, WI passed away in her home with her family at her side on May 19, 2015. Cheryl was born May 21, 1947 in Richland Center, WI to Charles B. Young and Mildred L. Thompson. Cheryl married the love of her life Robert J. Spotz, August 31, 1963. They lived in Williams Bay, WI and had three children; two sons Robert, Kurt, and a daughter Heidi. Cheryl was a wonderful mother, a true role model, and best friend to all three of her children. Cheryl was a 1968 graduate of Williams Bay High School. She trained to be a CNA and then Medical Technician. She worked over 20 years at Lakeland Medical Center and later at the Aurora Medical Center Delavan Clinic. She enjoyed being a longtime member of the Williams Bay Rescue Squad. Cheryl enjoyed traveling, reading, computer games, antique shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Thru the years, Cheryl has touched many hearts of her patients, co-workers, friends, and family with her infectious smile, kindness, and humorous ways. She was truly beautiful. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Bob (Carolyn) Spotz of Darien, WI, Kurt (Lynda) Spotz of Elkhorn, WI, and Heidi (Rob) Gamble of Delavan, WI; her six grandchildren; Kari (Zack) Lawlor, Kurt (Mary) Spotz Jr, Kristi Spotz, Clair Gamble, Catharine Gamble and Caleigh Gamble; her three sisters; Linda Nuoffer, Mary Ellen Ottosen, and Jill Bartolone; and many friends and co-workers. A gathering will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2pm until 8pm at 2862 Ingersoll Place, Delavan, WI 53115. Family, friends, and co-workers will be celebrating, the Life of Cheryl Spotz, by sharing fond memories of her and the way she still lives within us. A private burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery on Monday, June 15, 2015. Memorials can be directed to Vince Lombardi Cancer Center. Betzer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
