Connie Alida Clement

Cornelia (Connie) Clement, age 91, passed away May14, 2016 at Kindred Hearts of Elkhorn. She was born February 7, 1925 in Wassenaar, The Netherlands, Europe to Hein & Anna Bayer. She married Harry Clement on January17,1951. They immigrated to the United States on December 10, 1953. Harry and Connie lived in many cities in Wisconsin, ending in Delavan, Connie had a warm beautiful smile and was an amazing homemaker, cook and hostess. She loved to cross stitch, crochet towels and make jelly. She always remembered you with a card or a note of encouragement. She loved making special Dutch pancakes for her grandkids. Family was everything to her. Connie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harry of Elkhorn. One son Henry of Beloit, WI, Four daughters, Tina (John) Litjens of St. Cloud, FL, Anna (Mark) Wheeler of New Berlin,WI, Jo (Pete) Malm of Greenfield, IN, Karen (Mark) Shaw of Elkhorn, WI, One daughter-in-law Carol Clement of Platteville, WI. 15 Grandchildren: Paul Litjens, Eric Litjens, Jackie(Matt) Hensgen, Catie (Dusten) Slater, Nathan (Pearl) Clement, MatthewWheeler, P.J. (Julia) Malm, Cora(Jon) Wolfarth, Maria Malm. Lori Shaw, Jana Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Annaka Clement, Emily Clement and Eleanor Clement. 5 Great grandchildren Theo and Oliver Hensgen, Sophie Slater, Jackson and Stella Malm and two great grandchildren on the way. One Brother Hein Bayer, Four sisters Reit Schouten, Joke Gelauff, Josephine Noordover and Anneke Dirks. She was preceeded in death by a son, Jacob (Jack) Clement and a daughter-in-law Sue Clement, three brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services are 3pm Tuesday, May 17th at St. Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. Angel Anaya officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrews Cemetery. Friends may call at church on Tuesday from 1:30pm to 3pm. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Clement Family.
