Darlene F. Roen Parks, 75, Lake Geneva, WI died Monday May 5, 2014 at her residence. Darlene was born Feb. 9, 1939 in Rice Lake, WI the daughter of John and June Helpap Wuethrich. United in marriage to Gordon A. Roen May 23, 1959 in Rice Lake, WI and he preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2003. United in marriage to James G. Parks May 6, 2006 in Lake Geneva. Surviving is her husband James of Lake Geneva and San Antonio, Tx. Step daughter Cindy (Cliff) Taylor of Somerset, TX, Sons, Kevin (Kate) Roen of Louisville, KY and Jeff (Kathy Roen of Lake Geneva. Step son Jimmy Parks of San Antonio, TX. Grandchildren, Jeffery, Austin, Eric, Michelle (James) Smith, Alexa, and Madison. One Great Grandson T.J. Smothers. Sisters, Sandy Weber, Chetek, WI, Lynn (Ray) Saffert, Rice Lake, WI and Bonnie (Danny) Saffert, Rice Lake, WI. Brothers Gary (Cathy) Wuethrich, Stone Lake, WI. Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kristen and a son Jeffrey Roen. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 10, 2014 at the Skinners Funeral Home, Rice Lake, WI with Pastor Allen Klasi of the Assembly of God Church, Rice Lake, WI. officiating. Burial will be at the Swedish Cemetery, Rice Lake, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to time of Services at the Skinners Funeral Home on Saturday, and Visitation will be held on Thursday May 8, 2014 at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI. from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
