David Lee Guif

March 8, 1965 — July 8, 2024

David Lee Guif, 59 years of age, passed away to eternal life on July 8, 2024. David was born in Walworth County on March, 8, 1965, to the late LeRoy Dean and Joyce Ann (nee Brellenthin) Guif.

Survived by his siblings, Susan Joy Guif and Wendy Jill Guif; significant other Candee Haut, nieces and nephews, Ashley Guif, Brooks Guif, Cody Davidson, and Colton Davidson; as well as his special fur babies, Mixon and Maxwell, who will continue to be part of the family with their cousin Ashley. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and family.

David grew up on the very first veal farm in Wisconsin, working with his parents and sisters from a young age. During his childhood, he won Grand Champion at the Wisconsin State Fair with his Hampshire pig. This led to a lifelong love for farming, which David proceeded to do as an adult as well, branching into dairy and beef, and eventually owning three farms of his own. During this time, his sister Susan and her children Brooks and Ashley had a farm nearby, reuniting the family in their legacy of farming. A major Nascar and Green Bay Packers fan, David was a sports fan and athlete as well, earning the title of Champion Wrestler in high school. David will be missed by many.

The Guif family will be holding a private funeral service for both David and his father LeRoy, uniting them together in eternal life.
