Deanne Kathleen Mcgowan

DeAnne Kathleen McGowan (nee Linden), 81, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, passed peacefully to eternal life on July 29, 2023 at her home and surrounded by family. DeAnne was born on September 7, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Irene (nee Dillon) and John Linden. In 1963, she was united in marriage to Patrick Joseph McGowan in Chicago. Survived by her children, Maureen (Scott) Arient, Patrick McGowan, and son-in-law Mario Cortes; grandchildren Scott and Sean Arient, Iliana and Mario Cortes, and Patrick McGowan; siblings Tom Linden, John Linden, Patricia (Michael) Anhock, and Jim (Kathy) Linden; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends. She will be missed deeply. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Patrick, who passed in 2008, and her parents Irene and John. DeAnne's youngest daughter, Brigid C. Cortes, tragically and unexpectedly passed on August 2, 2023. The two are now eternally united and at peace. A dual celebration of life for both DeAnne and her daughter Brigid will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes of Lake Geneva (515 Center St., Lake Geneva, WI), with an open visitation and gathering from 2 - 8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held the following day, Friday, September 8, 2023, 10 a.m., at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
