Delores Mae Johnson Hoppe (Sis) Delavan, WI 10-5-1933 to 6-15-2017 Born in Elkhorn WI to John Edward Johnson and Erma Welch Johnson of Williams Bay WI. Delores was raised by Henry and Mildred Kenyon of Williams Bay WI. Graduated from Williams Bay WI high School in 1951. Married to Donald L Hoppe November 6, 1954 in Fontana WI. Had three sons Mike (Denise) Hoppe of Glendale AZ, Tim (Linda) Hoppe of Fountain Hills AZ, and Mark (Cathy) Hoppe of Delavan WI. Four brothers Robert (Fran) Kenyon of Lake Geneva, WI, Hank Kenyon of McHenry IL, Patrick (Kathy) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ and Bill (Ellen) Johnson of Cedarburg, WI. Grand Children, Jason Stodola, Joe Hoppe, Jacob Hoppe, Jeff Warner (Samantha) Warner, Erik (Alicia) Warner, James Morris, Bryant Morris and Christy Hoppe (Andy) Great Grand Children Kyleigh, Lyla, and Blake Warner. Longtime friends Edna Arnold, Phyllis Ida, Irene Anclam, Bev Utash, Nancy Runkle. Delores worked as a clerk for Montgomery Wards, in Janesville WI from 1952 to 1980, Larsen Company from 1981 to 1994, and Darien Municipal Court Clerk from 1986 to 1998. Active in American Legion Aux, American Baptist Women's Club, Friends Group, First Baptist Church of Delavan, Rachel's Circle. She loved to travel, read, play cards, do puzzles, and listen to country music. Also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known to be the designated driver and for making potato salad. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Robert) and husband (Donald) Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers to First Baptist Church of Delavan, WI Funeral services - Visitation will be held on Friday June 23, 2017 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church Delavan WI with the funeral service at 11:00AM with Pastor Betsy Perkins officiating. Immediately following a luncheon will be served. With burial to follow at the Darien, WI Cemetery.
