Don Fredrick Duvall, age 71, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, in his home in Allen Grove, WI. Don was born at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit WI, on December 21, 1948, the son of the late Daniel and Helen (Grams) Duvall. He graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1967. He married Brigitte "Kitty" Boersma, on July 22, 1967. Don was a machinist who began working in the industry at Swiss-Tech in Delavan through the On-the-Job training program while in high school. Later he worked for Bliss Machine in Darien, for about 20 years, until his retirement in 2010. Don was preceded in death by his sister Helen Timm, his brother, Richard, and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Brigitte, one daughter, Denise (Dustin) Kegley, one son, David Duvall, and one grand daughter, Brigitte Duvall. He is also survived by his two sisters, Danielle (Russell) Richardson and Christine (Michael) Moore and four nieces and four nephews. He also left behind his faithful, furry companion, Jack. Don loved being a machinist. This passion led him to the creation of Apex Engineering in his own workshop. Don enjoyed working with his hands, he could fix just about everything you brought to him. Don loved tinkering with metals and woods in his workshop, making many projects for family and friends to treasure for years. Don loved riding and working on motorcycles, especially dirt bikes. Don spear-headed the revitalization of the park in Allen Grove in the 1990's. Don enjoyed metal detecting in local parks and beaches, unearthed trinkets and treasures on his adventures. Don could be found riding his bicycle around the Grove when the weather was warm, visiting with neighbors and collecting vegetables along the way. Over the years, Don and Kitty had the pleasure of owning dogs. When he wasn't riding his bike, he might be found walking one of the furry companions in the Grove. The dog would accompany Don and Kitty into town on their errands with a window rolled down in all kinds of weather. Don fancied himself as a care-taker of the history of his beloved Allen Grove, collecting artifacts from the town he called home from his birth to his passing.
