Dona Garno Wolworth

Dona G. Wolworth, age 90, of Delavan, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home. Dona was born on October 27, 1931 daughter to the late Francis and Marie (Koch) Garno in Milwaukee, WI. She married C. M. "Buck" Wolworth on February, 23, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI. He predeceased her on June 2, 2010. Dona lived a life full of love and passion. Not only was she a wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma, she was an entrepreneur, a designer, a writer, a volunteer. She enjoyed singing and dancing, she bowled, raised show horses, and swimming including water aerobics was a life long activity. During the early years, she lived with her husband and family in many places throughout the U.S., supporting her husbands career. Later in life, she traveled all over the country again for a job she truly enjoyed until she finally decided to retire. In those years, she learned to play billiards, played the ukulele with friends, was a voracious reader, and met with cherished childhood friends. Her dog, Tally, was a big part of her life, often spending time at the dog park. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family. Dona had a zest for life and she lived it to the very end. Dona was the loving mother of Rick Wolworth, Jack (Dana) Wolworth, Thomas (Jayme) Wolworth, Patrick (Pam) Wolworth, and Amy Stewart (Tim); grandmother of Addam (Jenny), Benjamin (Denelle), Ian (Kristen), Brock (Kristin), Jonathan, and Kyra; great-grandmother of Lillian, Carter, Vera, Hattie, and Atlas. Private family services will be held in the Fall of 2022. She will be in peace with her husband at the Wayside Cemetery in Barron, WI.
