Donna J Carstensen

Donna J. Carstensen, age 88 years, longtime resident of Lake Geneva, WI. passed to eternal life on May 14, 2026, at Holton Manor surrounded by her family. Donna was born in Chicago, IL on April 21, 1938, to the late George and Helen (nee Sauer) Kamholz. She married Lawrence Carstensen on April 16, 1955, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva. Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 71 years Lawrence, children Barbara, Ken (Tanya), Mike and Jeff (Julie) Carstensen, grandchildren Stephani (Justin) Sanchez, Erica (Don) DiCamillo, Carl (Ashley) and Eric Carstensen, great-grandchildren Amaya, Liam, Archie, Ayden, Lincoln and her sister Lois Borst. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenny Kamholz and sister Mildred Karger. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 10am-11am at Immanuel Lutheran Church (700 North Bloomfield Rd, Lake Geneva) with funeral service at 11am. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or St Croix Hospice. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at both Holton Manor and St Croix Hospice for their loving care during her time with them.
