Donna J. Hansen

Donna J. Hansen, age 72, of Stevens Point passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. Donna was born on March 3, 1949 to Hugh and Marilyn (Tohn) McDonough in Chicago, IL. She attended High School in Chicago and furthered her education at DePaul University in Chicago. She received a bachelor's degree in Health Services. She worked as an x-ray technician for Meriter Hospital in Madison for over 42 years. Donna enjoyed walking three to four miles every day. She liked to travel, took several cruises, and visited Hawaii twice. Donna liked to spend time with family and dinners with close friends. Donna is survived by her children: Ellen Spalding and Erik (Heidi); five grandchildren; siblings: Patsy Schnyder, James (Syntra) McDonough, Judy (Randy) Werre, Dennis (Maggie) McDonough, John McDonough, Diane (John) Nelson and Thomas (Debbie) McDonough. She is further survived by her close friends: Rita, Ruth and Marsha. She is preceded in death by her brother Michael McDonough and sister Gail McDonough. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes, Steinke Chapel of Lake Geneva (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva, WI). A second visitation will be held at the same location on Saturday, June 18, from 10 - 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11 a.m.; Pastor Bob Kamps of Como Community Church officiating.
