Donna K Howe

Donna K Howe, age 89 years of Lake Geneva, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She was born in Milton, WI on November 18th of 1935 to the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Kraus) Foreman. Donna graduated from Milton Union High School in the year 1953. She married her late husband, Arthur (“Art”) G. Howe, on September 25th, 1965 in Janesville, WI. The two then made their home in Lake Geneva, WI where they remained throughout their life together. Donna worked for General Motors and retired from there after 30 years of service. One of Donna’s most memorable traits was her love for animals. She and Art were always willing to open up their home and hearts for pets, and they cared for numerous cats and dogs over the years. Donna also loved watching and feeding the wildlife that visited their yard. Donna was always sharing her love through food, always enjoyed cooking and baking – especially when it meant that she could cook for others. She and Art will be remembered for always being on the road in their Suburban, bringing home-cooked food to their family and friends.

Donna is survived by her two nieces, Micki (Jon) Sockness and Marcy (Bob) Lipstreuer. Also survived by, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Arthur (“Art”), her brother Jon (“Butch”) Foreman, nephew Jon Foreman Jr, as well as relatives and friends. Special thanks to Lakeland Health Center and Aurora at home hospice for all of the wonderful care, the love and friendship given to Donna over the last few years. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Lakeland Animal Shelter in Donna’s name is appreciated. Donna will be laid to rest with her beloved Art at Milton Junction Cemetery on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:30PM.
