Doris Arlene Ames

Doris Arlene Clapper Ames, 84, of Sharon,Wi died at Beloit Memorial Hospital, June 19, 2017 after a long illness. She was born June 20, 1932 in LaFarge, Wisconsin the daughter of Charles and Gladys Glick Rockwell. She married Richard L. Ames, Oct. 4, 1969 in Lake Geneva, WI. Doris is survived by her husband, Richard of Sharon. 1 son, Roger (Gladys) Clapper of Delavan, 1 sister, Audrey (LeRoy) Finnigan of Kenosha, WI. 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Francis Clapper, 1 sister and 1 brother. Memorial Services will be 6pm Wednesday, June 28,2017 at the Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan Burial will be in North Geneva Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 6pm Wednesday, June 28th at the funeral home. Immediately following the service there will be a reception across the street at the Delavan American Legion Post 95.
