Dr. James A. Wenders, Md

Dr. James A. Wenders, MD, 88, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2022, in Tampa, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Marie (Nowicki) Wenders. Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judith (Wick) and their children, Julie (the late Timothy) Meert, Christopher (Anne) Wenders, Mary Sansone, Amy (Michael) Braun, and Daniel Wenders, grandchildren Jonathan, Ellen (Nick) Stowe, Joseph, Andrew, and Peter, and great grandson Cal. Jim was born in Milwaukee on November 30, 1933. He was a proud member of the "3M Club," graduating from Marquette High, Marquette University and Marquette Medical School. Jim was a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and enjoyed a successful career as a Pediatrician for over 40 years. Jim was known as a kind and generous husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed by many. A visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W.
