Earnestine S. Kennedy

Earnestine S. Kennedy, age 87 of Lake Ivanhoe, WI passed away to eternal life at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Earnestine was born January 10, 1931 in Elkville, IL the daughter of late Robert Simpson and Etta (Claybrook) Simpson-Gillespie. She married Beefield Kennedy on July 19, 1953, who preceded her in death on February 5, 1998. She worked at Sta-Rite Industries as an accountant and served the Town of Bloomfield community as a Town Supervisor, Town Clerk and served many years as a member for the Town of Bloomfield Election Committee. Earnestine was a loving mother to Ralph and Wilbert Kennedy, and a loving grandmother to Hali Kennedy. She is also survived by her sisters Jennine, Grace, Pam, Mary, and brothers Robert, George, Bruce, Richard, and Thomas. Daughter-in-laws Jessica, Nancy and Dori, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Harvey, James and William, and sister Marie. Ernestine will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Larry Williams officiating.
