Edna Louise Kohnke

Edna Louise KOHNKE, died at Williams Bay Care Center on Monday, May 12, 2014. Edna was born Feb. 25, 1918 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Sigbourn A. Leire and Marie O. Christensen. She married Joseph Joseph Kohnke August 16, 1941 in Chicago. Joseph predeceased Edna in 1996. Edna was a member of the Williams Bay Lutheran Church and the Williams Bay Women's Club. She is survived by 5 Children, Sharon Yanz of Williams Bay; Warren (Donna) Kohnke of Lake Geneva; Wayne (Phyllis) Kohnke of Hoffman Estates, IL; Gordon(Terry) Kohnke of Roselle, IL; Debbie (Ron) Swenson of Delavan. Nine Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Gudron, Elsie and Florence. Memorial Services will be 11am. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Williams Bay Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeanette Stranjord officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 to 11am. on Saturday. A reception will be held immediately following services at the church. Memorials to the Wms Bay Lutheran Church are appreciated.
