Eduard Blechner

It is with great sorrow that we inform family and friends that our dearly loved husband, father and grandfather Eduard Blechner has closed his eyes for the last time on this earth. His departure was unexpected. Eduard Blechner was born on October 17th, 1937 in Ruda Romania. His family moved back to Germany during WWII in 1940. In 1957 Eduard left Germany as a 19 year old with his brother Joe to seek his fortune in the USA, where he called Chicago his home. He married his wife of 56 years, a dress maker from Austria named Katharina in 1960. Together they have 3 beautiful children. Eduard was a German Toolmaker by trade and started a successful Moldmaking business in 1970. Life's Journey took the two back and forth to Germany several times and they finally settled in Elkhorn WI in 2005 for their final place they call home. Eduard leaves behind his beloved wife Katharina. Daughters Carmen and Renee, daughter in law Jenny and son Kurt, granddaughter Daniela, grandsons Kyle and Travis.Funeral Services are 10 AM on Saturday, Oct. 29th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Fr. Oriole Regales Officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 8am to service time on Saturday.
