Edward Bongiorno Bunzol

Edward Bongiorno Bunzol, 86 of Villa Del Aire, Delavan Lake died Christmas Day at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center after suffering a sudden heart attack at home. He was born Feb. 4, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Anthony Bongiorno Bunzol and Lena San Fillipo. He married Phyllis Maniscalco Nov. 11, 1950 in Chicago. He was a Korean War Veteran with the U.S. Army. He was a active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Delavan Lake. 2 daughters, Nadine (Mark) Palmer of Gilberts, IL. and Micheline (Gene) Piekerski of Naperville, Il and one son, Edward, Jr. (Shirl) Bunzol of Arlington Hts. IL 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Private services are 3 pm Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at St. Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. Angel Anaya officiating. Burial is private.
