Edward Theodore Kirchner, Jr.

Edward T. 'Ed' Kirchner, Jr., 91, of Lake Geneva, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Arbor Village.

Married for 62 years to his wife Elfriede Marie Brunner Kirchner (d. 2021), he was father of two sons (Edward III and Eric) and grandfather to Edward, Gordon and Alexandra Kirchner.

Ed, a graduate of Ripon College, served in the United States Army in Germany and retired as a Manufacturer’s Representative in 2002. Originally born and raised in Chicago, Ed and Elfie started in Chicago and subsequently lived in Rolling Meadows and Mt. Prospect Illinois before moving to Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

An avid fisherman and a skilled woodworker, Ed is remembered as a dependable friend, humorist and raconteur to friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147) on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10a.m. until time of sharing at 11a.m. Military Honors will follow.
