Eileen L. Shepstone (nee Clausen) age 93 years. Longtime resident of Lake Geneva. Passed to Eternal Life on Monday, March 17th, 2025, at Sage Meadows in Lake Geneva. Eileen was born on September 15, 1931, in Elkhorn, WI to Elmer and Lila (nee King) Clausen. She married the late Robert Henry Shepstone on November 25, 1950, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, he preceded her death on August 18, 2003. Eileen worked at Ben Franklin’s as a clerk in her younger years and then was a waitress at Clausen Café and Clausen Corner. Eileen loved to play cards, bingo, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay, no one was ever a stranger to Eileen. Longtime funeral luncheon coordinator at First Lutheran. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Charles) Rice, grandchildren Charles Jr (Devon Baker) Rice, Jeffrey Rice, Christopher Rice, great grandson Dominic (Brooke) Rice, great-great grandson Jayden Rice, Sisters Lois Skelley and Carolee Olson, sisters-in-law Joyce Clause and Betty Nutter, brother-in-law Daniel Shepstone. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents and Husband Robert. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 4-7pm at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Lake Geneva (515 Center Street) and on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, from 10-11am at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1101 Logan Street, Lake Geneva, WI) with Funeral service at 11am. Interment Mound Prairie Cemetery, Twin Lakes. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Evangelical Lutheran Church appreciated.
