Eleanor A Wall

Eleanor Ann Wall died peacefully, Saturday Sept. 3, 2016. She was born November 4th, 1933 in Baltimore MD. She spent time after graduation as a flight attendant for American Airlines. She was also active in the USO during the Korean War. On April 15th, 1961 she married Francis Eugene "Pete" Wall. Eleanor was an active member of the Lake Geneva community. She was a member of Questers International, the Lake Geneva Lioness Club. Eleanor also volunteered her time at the Linn Township voting polls, Meals on Wheels, the Lake Geneva Library, area schools, served as a board member of the Geneva Lake Sailing Club, taught Catechism at St. FrancisDeSales and St. Benedicts, and spent her later years as a dedicated hospice volunteer. She was a loving mother of 4 and "Nana" to 11 grandchildren. She was loved for her quick wit and high spirits. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Pete (July 8, 2016), parents George and Hilda Eichelman of Fredrick, MD, brothers Fred and George. She is survived by four children, Kathleen Wall, Hoffman Estates, Il; Michael (Susan) Wall, Grayslake, Il; Peter(Sally) Wall, Lincolnshire, Il; and David (Lara) Wall, Lake Geneva; 11 grandchildren; and a brother Robert Eichelman, Baltimore MD.
