Elena P. Godina

Elena P. Godina, 81, of Elkhorn, WI passed away peacefully to eternal life on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at home. Elena was born on June 22, 1941 in Zapata, TX daughter to the Andres and Benancia (Martinez) Perez. She became a resident of Fort Atkinson, WI in 1960 as a newlywed with Refugio Godina. He predeceased her in death on September 15, 2019. Elena was the loving mother of Maria (Joe) Castillo, Maria Elena Gonzalez, Refugio (Leigh) Godina, Angel Godina, David Godina, Andres Godina, Pedro Godina, Juan Antonio (Francis Molina). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son Charlie Godina. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (714 E Walworth Ave, Delavan) from 10a.m. to 12 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12p.m. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memory gardens in Lake Geneva.
