Read, Elizabeth J. 76, Lake Geneva, WI. passed away to eternal life February 14, 2017 at Aurora Lakeland Hospital, Elkhorn, WI. She was born September 21, 1940 in Elkhorn, WI. daughter to Joseph and Anthea Stearns Welch. United in marriage on June 23, 1959 in Elkhorn, WI. to Clarence B. Read. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales, Lake Geneva, WI. She loved to go hiking and back packing, an avid member of a book and bridge club. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Clarence, puppy daughter Molly, Loraine "Lori" (Craig) Seabrooks, Gilbert, AZ. Sons Clarence Michael (Jacki) Read, Phoenix, AZ., Jeffrey Maurice Read, Anchorage, AK., and Timothy Theron (Julie) Read, Bloomingdale, IL. As well as 10 Grandchildren: Aundrea Boyd, Heather Lawson, Cortney, & Clarence Garrett Read, Jeffrey Brandon , Alexander & Amber Read, Aileen, Kylee, & Justeen Read; and 5 Great-Grandchildren: Ellie Elizabeth & John Graham Lawson, Branson & Barrett Boyd, and Jeffrey Read. Preceeded in death by her parents Joseph & Anthea Welch, Clarence & Madalyn Read, and puppy Jessie. Services will be at 10:00A.M. Saturday February 18, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Bishop elect Fr. Jim Schuerman in Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be from 4-8:00P.M.
