Elizabeth Mae 'Betty' Vorpagel

Elizabeth "Betty" M. Vorpagel, 87, Lake Ivanhoe, WI died Sunday Jan. 5, 2014 at her residence. Betty was born May 2, 1926 in Rushville, IN the daughter of Royal and Viola Scott Wickliffe. United in marriage to Howard Nov. 17, 1955 in Chicago,IL and he preceded her in death May 17, 1988. Member of the Commission of the Fire & Police Dept. for Bloomfield Township and Ivanhoe Property Association. Was employed as a Nurse at Lakeland Hospital for many years. Surviving is her daughter, Beverly Mitchell, Washington State, Granddaughter Stephanie Barler, Lake Ivanhoe, and Erik Dortch, 1 great grandson Julian Barler. Sister, Phyllis (Paul) Anderson, Carmel, IN. Preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Opal, and 2 brothers Otho, and Tommy. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday Jan 25, 2014 at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
