Elvera B. Lieurance 94, was born October 10,1926 in Palatine, Il. to Arthur and Dorothea Linnemann. She was called home to her maker on December 6, 2020. Elvera married Gordon Lieurance on January 17, 1953. They lived in Delavan all of their lives and farmed for many years. Elvera also worked several years at a local factory, Swiss Tech and retired when she was 85 years old. Elvera was an extremely hard worker and was the backbone of the family. She and Gordon spent many years raising horses and ponies which were shown at the Walworth County Fairgrounds. She loved and supported her daughters and their families in all their endeavors. They joked about her being the "Energizer Bunny". Elvera is survived by her three daughters, Georgette (Tim) Flynn of Williams Bay, WI, Alice (Brian) Davis of Darien, WI and Mary (Todd) Propson of Wyoming. Her seven grandchildren, Joshua (Mikaela) and Jeremy Flynn, Alisha (Michael), Amanda (Louie), Bryce (Alyssa), Grant (Emily)Murray, Harlee Propson and her two great-grandsons, Raylen and Rhett Conrad. Two more great-grandchildren are due in 2021. She is also survived by her sister, Lois(Leroy) Evans of Delavan. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gordon and five siblings. There is no public service. The family will have a private burial at Spring Grove Cemetery on Dec. 21st. Betzer Funeral Home of Delavan is serving the Lieurance Family Service Details.
