Estrid Elizabeth Sanders

Estrid Elizabeth Sanders, (nee Gundberg), 96 years of Delavan Inlet. Passed away at her home on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Estrid was born on October 11, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Swan and Elsie (Karlson) Gundberg. She married the late Carl Sanders on April 3, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2016. Estrid and Carl lived in the house that Carl built for over 70 years, she was a 50+ year member of Delavan United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Harvard Moose Lodge. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (David) Barber, Jill (Brent) Gunnink, son Lee (Deb) Sanders, five Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Carl, daughter Jean, granddaughter Melissa and great grandson David. Private Funeral Service were held with interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
