Ethel Jean 'Pat' Morrissey

Ethel J. Morrissey "Pat", age 96 of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin Passed to eternal life at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Pat was born July 8, 1922 in Lake Geneva, WI the daughter of John and Edith (Millar) Dunnet. She graduated Lake Geneva High School in 1939 and married the love of her life Richard ‘Dick' Morrissey (D. January 6, 2004) on December 14, 1940. Pat was an enthusiastic worker. Pat modeled the latest fashions in live runway shows at Marshall Fields, Chicago. She assisted Doctor MacDonald, the local dentist for many years then went on to a 30 year career at Bailey's Upholstery shop. After retirement, Pat ran a successful custom boat cover business out of her home. She was a private person who valued her friends and family and was dedicated to God. Pat was quietly supportive to a host of people in the community. A long term active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pat's baked beans at church funerals were legendary. Pat was fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a keen golfer, and spent many years with the "Speedqueens" on Hillmoor Golf Course with the great accomplishment of a hole-in-one. Surviving is her son Scott (Christine) Morrissey, grandchildren Jack and Claire Morrissey and Christopher and Meredith Cline. Pat is preceded in death by her husband and daughter Sue Cline. A time of gathering will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service at 11a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (700 N Bloomfield Rd, Lake Geneva) with Pastor Sara VanDeBerg officiating.
