Florent Joseph Vandyck

Florent VanDyck, 95, formerly of Woodstock, IL died Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Artisan Assisted Living, Lake Geneva, WI. Florent was born June 18, 1918 in Chicago, IL the son of Emil and Jeannete Ver Vliet VanDyck. United in marriage to Dorothy Zuehlke and she preceded him in death in 1996. Member of the Lake Geneva Beach Association. Surviving is his daughter Kathleen Pemberton, Woodstock, IL 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Fahrforth, Wheaton, IL and a companion, Joan Palmbach, Lake Geneva, WI. Preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Edward and 1 son Gerald VanDyck. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 16, 2014 at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva with Pastor Dr. Larry Tieman from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake, IL officiating.
