Frances Violet 'Fran' Johnson

Frances Huber Johnson, 90, of Darien,Wi died at Lakeland Health Care Center on October 20,2014 where she had resided since May of 2014. Fran was born Feb. 23, 1924 in Janesville,WI the daughter of Charles Huber and Claribel Richards. Fran graduated from Darien School System and then attended U of Wisconsin-Madison. She married Philip C. Johnson, in 1944 in Darien,Wi. Philip predeceased her Dec. 20,2011. Fran was an avid Badger Fan and was seen helping customers at Bradley Dept. Store in Delavan for many years. She was a friendly face and known fondly by many. Fran was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and traveled extensively the family motor coach. She was active in Girl Scouts of America amd served her Darien Community in many ways, and was in Delavan Service League. . She is survived by 1 dau. Jennifer Ludowise of Delavan. 3 sons,Philip C. "Pete" (Kathleen) Johnson of Jackson,Wi , Jay (Jade) Johnson of Delavan, Craig (Robin) Johnson of Darien. Eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased recently by a daughter, Kristi Lou. Visitation will be from 10 to 1 on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at the Betzer Funeral Home.
