Fred R. Fleming

Fred R. Fleming, 81, of Ingleside Illinois, passed to eternal life at his residence on November 13th, 2021. Fred was born on March 25, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his devoted wife Carolyn, and his children, Darren (Stacy) Fleming, Michele (Darin) Fletcher, and Shannon (Jeff) Berkemeyer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle, Garret, Ethan, Tate, Harris, Wesley, Benjamin, and Grace, as well as his great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Huntington, and Astrid. Fred also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Joan (Dennis) Dutton, and Sandy (Mark) Whelan. Fred led a long a eclectic life, beginning with his service in the United States Marines Corp. He also learned the craft of mold making, opened and owned a fishing resort in Arkansas, and began a successful handyman business in Illinois. He enjoyed staying active, and did so until the very end. A celebration of life will be held in the spring or early summer of 2022 with further details to follow.
