Geraldine Erma Wotnoske

Geraldine Erma Wotnoske (Lifer), 91, of Elkhorn, died Dec. 18, 2016 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn. She was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Merillan, to Edward Lloyd Lifer and Elsie Lottie Glander-Lifer. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Jean Kunz; her children, William Thomas Nelson, Jacqueline Kay Phillips, Michael Gean Alvard, and Janelle Elsie Carlson; a beloved grandma to Curtis and Steve Jr. Carlson, Katrina, Ian, Alysia, Sarah, Cheyenne Nelson, and Jennifer and Justine LaFernier and many beloved great-grandchildren and other family relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arivd Lloyd Lifer and Jack Lyle Lifer; and a sister, Marlea Stefanski. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holton Manor, 645 N.
