Gloria June Nystrom

Gloria June Nystrom, 95, of Delavan, passed away on April 11, 2023 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan with her daughter Lisa and grandchildren by her side. Gloria was born on May 14th, 1927, to Robert and LeAnna (Jones) Boviall in Delavan, Wisconsin. Gloria grew up on a farm across from Lake Lawn Lodge. Gloria was one of eleven siblings and lived in Delavan her entire life. Gloria graduated from Delavan High School in 1945. On August 11th, 1946 Gloria married Harold Nystrom. Gloria worked at Lake Lawn Lodge, but was primarily a caregiver at Lutheran Social Services. Gloria loved to spend time with her family, enjoying her grandchildren and trips to Florida. Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Linda Vellender, Diane (Pete) Linder, and Lisa (Jerry) Nichols; her grandchildren Renee, Brad, Julie, Bobby, Lance, Mitch, Paul, Natalie, Brooke, and Ashley; and 19 great grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Harold, son Scott, daughter Connie Holden, parents Robert and LeAnna Boviall and all of her sisters and brothers, Josephine Michaelson, Beulah Muzzy, Thelma Altergott, LeRoy, Isabelle Belton, Walter, Howard, Arthur, Antoinette and Lois Westerman. A special thank you to granddaughter Julie for all her loving care to Gloria. Gloria will be laid to rest next to her son Scott at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan.
