Grace A. Schoenbeck

Grace A. Schoenbeck, 88, longtime resident of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Ridgestone Village in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Grace was born on January 13, 1936, to the late Reinhold F. and Dagmar (Olsen) Schoenbeck. She graduated Elkhorn High School in the class of 1953, and went on to work at the James Mason Agency and Interstate Insurance, until her retirement in 2014. Grace bowled for many years and was Treasurer of the Wal-Roc Bowling Association for over 4 decades. She was a devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Survived by nieces Suzanne (Dick) Matthews and Marilyn (Jerry) Kalous, nephews Gregory (Sue) Folkers and Brian Folkers, as well as other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Reinhold and Dagmar Schoenbeck, and sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Glen Munger, and Doris and Gorden Folkers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Betzer Chapel (118 South 2nd Street, Delavan, WI) from 9-11am with service at 11am. Grace will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery next to her mother and father.
