Guadalupe Aranda, de 82 años, residente de Beloit, Wisconsin, falleció el domingo 25 de enero de 2026. Nació el 25 de mayo de 1943 en San Jose de Otates, Guanajuato, México, hijo de los difuntos Anastasio y Camerina Aranda.

El 18 de enero de 1963, Guadalupe contrajo matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Mercedes Rodríguez, con quien compartió 65 años de matrimonio. Fue un hombre trabajador, dedicado a su familia y con firmes valores. Guadalupe fue un hijo amoroso, esposo devoto, padre ejemplar, un abuelo y bisabuelo muy querido. Era conocido por su sentido del humor y sus comentarios sarcásticos, siendo un hombre de pocas palabras pero de gran corazón.

Disfrutaba de las convivencias familiares, comer, trabajar en el campo, viajar junto a su esposa y visitar México para reencontrarse con sus seres queridos.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Mercedes Aranda; sus hijos, Teresa (Theodore) Colin, María Guadalupe (Samuel) Gonzales, Elvia (José) Valadez, Evelia (Raúl) Porras, Lorena (José) Pérez, Luz A. (Giovanni) Romero, Rigoberto (Marlen) Aranda, Ari Aranda, Faviola (Román) Santos y Carlos (Chelsea) Aranda; su nuera, Juana Aranda; además de numerosos nietos, bisnietos, sobrinos y sobrinas.

Además de sus padres, Guadalupe fue precedido en la muerte por sus hijos José Luis Aranda y Guadalupe Aranda Jr., así como por sus hermanos Luisa, María, Antonio, Juana y Rafael Aranda.

La velación se llevará a cabo de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. el jueves 5 de febrero de 2026 en Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home, ubicada en 118 South Street, Delavan, WI 53115. La Misa de Cuerpo Presente se celebrará a las 12:00 p.m. el viernes 6 de febrero de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica San Andrés, ubicada en 714 East Walworth Street, Delavan, WI 53115, seguida del sepelio en el Cementerio Católico San Andrés. En honor a su memoria, al concluir el sepelio, la familia les hace una cordial invitación a familiares y amigos para acompañarlos en una recepción en el American Legion Post 95, 111 South Second Street, Delavan, WI 53115, de 2:30 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.

Guadalupe Aranda, 82, a resident of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1943, in San José de Otates, Guanajuato, Mexico, to the late Anastasio and Camerina Aranda.

On January 18, 1963, Guadalupe was united in marriage with the love of his life, Mercedes Rodríguez, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. He was a hardworking man, devoted to his family and guided by strong values. Guadalupe was a loving son, a devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather. He was known for his sense of humor and sarcastic remarks, a man of few words but with a big heart.

He enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and eating together, working in the fields, traveling alongside his wife, and visiting Mexico to reconnect with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Aranda; his children, Teresa (Theodore) Colin, Maria Guadalupe (Samuel) Gonzales, Elvia (Jose) Valadez, Evelia (Raul) Porras, Lorena (Jose) Perez, Luz A. (Giovanni) Romero, Rigoberto (Marlen) Aranda, Ari Aranda, Faviola (Roman) Santos, and Carlos (Chelsea) Aranda; his daughter-in-law, Juana Aranda; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Guadalupe was preceded in death by his sons, Jose Luis Aranda and Guadalupe Aranda Jr., and by his siblings Luisa, Maria, Antonio, Juana, and Rafael Aranda.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home, 118 South Street, Delavan, WI 53115. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 East Walworth Street, Delavan, WI 53115, followed by interment at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. To honor his memory, following the interment, the family cordially invites relatives and friends to join them for a reception at the American Legion Post 95, 111 South Second Street, Delavan, WI 53115, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
